Hi was just wondering if this grass is safe for guinea pigs because it has a white line and i’m not sure if it means anything - And these flowers i don’t think they’re safe but there’s loads of them so i was just wondering xx

The crocuses are the purple flowers right? Sorry i don’t know much about even basic gardening xHi!
The grass is not great (it could do with some thorough raking in autumn as the thatch is rather thick) but edible.
However I would recommend that you cover the crocuses with flower pots or something else until the leaves have turned yellow and you can pull them out easily.
Any part of a plant growing from bulbs is poisonous to guinea pigs. They won't die from eating just one leaf but eating them down all may have consequences.
I hope that that helps you?
Is the white line grass the leaves? xxBest avoided as they are crocuses (the flowers and leaves) which are bulbs and can be poisonous.
If they have already eaten some then just keep an eye on them, but if it was a small amount they should be ok.
Yes the purple flowers are crocuses and the blades of green with white lines on them are the crocus leaves, not grass, so they are both potentially poisonous to your guinea pigs.Is the white line grass the leaves? xx
