I`ve 5 boars and one in particular (Tommy) always has hay or grass stuck inside his penis. I check him morning and evening and nearly every day I have to pull out a length of hay / grass about 10mm to 20mm. I do it very slowy and he seems greatful when its out.

The other 4 boys don`t get it nearly so bad. Perhaps only once a week. Therefore I only check them once a day.

Has anyone else got this problem with their boars? Is it something to worry about in case I miss day?

yes my boars get this too!

i think its just something we must check for as it could cause an infection.

not sure if it is down to where they are scent marking, i see them dragging there bums along alot to do this.

Are you sure you mean 10-20cm?
If it is he must be a well-endowed boar.

I would say I have gotton a good 2 inches out of tigers penis before :)) He went through a phase of having hay in there every 2/3 days but now it is more like 5/7 days. No problems so far apart from him being very grumpy with me!

Oh yes I'm always pulling out lengths from my boy's bits! lol the joy!

My mimsi gets his bits checked every day. i even found a small piece of carrot inside him, I often wonder what my piggie thinks when i go poking and proding around his private bits! Just as well he is so good natured!

Who for?

Snap! Poor Wilbur has this daily. It doesn't seem to bother him though, then again not much does.

At least a hamster has the decency to store food in it's mouth.

Thanx all for your replies. I`m pleased its not just my boars that have this problem. Hope there`s no infection. There shouldn`t be if they`re checked every day.

Oh, the hay is only `mm` and not `cm`. Thanks.

Anders

Understood, mm not cm!
The day of the mega-boar g. pig is not with us yet.......
