Looking for some advice really.
My piggy, Little, is dealing with dental problems so won’t eat hay. He’s been having grass instead. We built it up in slow quantities but now he’s having to eat it as his primary food source. His poos are really soft and are coming out quite similar to cow pat type poos but not as severe as that. They have no shape at all though. This started yesterday. Anyway, I’m not really sure what I should be doing for the best. I can’t exactly not give him grass as he isn’t really eating anything else, but I don’t want his poos to get really bad.
Any help is appreciated.

Also: sometimes he can have a bit of impaction at times but never too bad. Today I’ve literally had to get all his poo out for him as it won’t come out on it’s own. I know stopping grass probably isn’t an option but I don’t know how to make any of this better for him

Thank you for tagging them, but actually there is no need anymore! We managed to take him to see Simon to sort his teeth out yesterday, turns out he had a jaw abscess and incisor infection and since then he’s been doing better. His poos are not perfect as they’re thin but they’re way more normal than before! :)

When he starts eating normal, the poos will go back to normal, small poos is a sign of a gut slow down. Hope he remains well 👍
