The piggies are a bit fed up because they have not been outside much this week (they have indoor runs) because of the blinkin rain. At least the rain makes the grass grow.....
Do you think this will cheer them up?

I've just picked some out of the meadow at our stables too, quick question, is it OK for them to eat wet grass, my lot adore it!

It's just pure grass that's waiting to be cut for the horses, it's like a chorus when they here the carrier bag come up the garden :))

haha, i know what you mean, all you hear is weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek, its cute because one of my pigs, when he does it his ears flap up and down, LOL :<>x)

We have a patch of grass at the back of our house, and when it gets high I get my scissors and bag and go and cut some! People must think I'm from a loon I'm like it's for the guinea pigs haha!
I step my foot into the back door and one of them squeaks her little head off for it so then it's put in her bowl gone within seconds like and then it's chicken leg time as they are full up lol

I'm lucky enough to have someone come in to cut our lawn, as it's quite big. He thinks I'm mad because I won't let them cut in some places because the runs go there, and in others because I need long grass to cut for the piggies. Add to that my frog and toad patch (no cutting with machines), the bun area (leave enough for the wild bunnies to graze on) and the hedgehog bit (leave it long so that the slugs I put there stay there and get eaten by the hoggies) and I reckon he thinks I'm certifiable...8)

I am afraid that it has all been munched:))
That little bunch was from a walk around my garden - bonus of not being a very neat gardener. We live next to a field and the field is always trying to take over.

I leave the odd nettle or 10 for butterflies and the OH does not really appreciate my attempts at preserving biodiversity when he is prickled......

Lol! I don't have much grass in my backyard so I completely rely on my guinea pigs as lawn mowers and just move their play pen a bit each day ahaha
