Grass seed!?!

Hi there, can anyone answer this for me..
I’ve heard you can’t give Guineas seed treats incase it gets stuck in there teeth, but can they eat grass that’s started to get seed heads as I’m guessing they are softer? Thanks

i have been wondering the same thing! i need to put grass seed down so they will have more grass to eat but wondering if they can eat it? sorry i cant help though

Thank you for replying, I thought no one replied as it was a silly question , my Guineas have completely trashed my grass so I’ve been pulling it up from a neighbors garden but it’s so tall with seed heads on!?! I didn’t realise how much grass they could eat?!?

I gave my pigs long grass with seed heads the other day and they demolished it with no problems

Mine have about a carrier bag fullmof grass a day, seed heads are no problem at all.
