My guinea pigs love a big handful of fresh grass and dandelions. We are lucky enough to have a garden full of it (until the other half decides to cut the grass!). If I feed the pigs this can this replace their portion of vegetables for that meal time or should it be as well as?

I may be wrong, but I think a big handful of grass can replace a single portion of veggies.:tu: Don't feed too many dandelions as they are a diuretic. Perhaps just two or three per pig is enough dandelions. Have you got any plantain growing in your garden? Both ribwort or broad-leaf are fine; they have lots of vitamins. Daisies are okay too. NOT buttercups . They are poisonous. :vom:
