My gigs are coping well with the winter and I'm doing everything I can to keep them active, entertained and happy without their beloved grass time but I want to do more.

2-3 times a week they get graze on in with their hay to mix it up a bit but I'm sure I saw on here in the past people talking about growing wheat grass for their gigs. I've seen links etc to what I need and how to do it but before I get started I wanted to be sure wheat grass is good and can be fed regularly? Any other thoughts, options also welcome!

Thanks xx

Wheat Grass is ok for piggies. It's the stuff that grows into Wheat in the fields. We at GPMHQ have a continuous growing cycle throughout the winter months when good outside grass is unavailable.
Here's a couple of vids for you to check out.

Fab TY, I didn't think I'd dreamt it but wanted to be sure before I sourced some seeds. Also saw in a post here that its a treat grass so didn't want to over do it if it's not good for them. Can you advise where best to get the seeds? Can't wait to give this to my gigs :)

just google wheat grain and see who's selling it. Also known as wheat berries. It tends to be cheaper from whole food shops.
