Hello. I would love to get my guniea pigs some grass ( order some online I’m thinking). Does anybody have some recommendations for a good website?

Welcome to the forum.
I use a pair of scissors to cut fresh grass from the garden for mine
I also buy Readigrass from Amazon but it’s quite rich so they don’t get much.

Have a look at Piggies Parcels website too. She’s a forum member and has some wonderful forage

You can buy grass seeds to shoot indoors. People sell cat grass on eBay. It sprouts in water, but if you would like a bigger plant, potting the seeds in soil works well. You can also plant seed heads from piggy hay and they should sprout. Like other fresh foods, don't over feed as they are rich

Thank you. My thought was that I’m scared of animal urine/ anything else being in the grass from my garden! But will definitely take a look at your websites

Aconbury Wheatgrass - Home

I have bought from here in the past, it's not cheap (at all, especially postage!) When I've needed grass ASAP, usually after a surgery to encourage independent eating as quickly as possible.

It's grown for human consumption so very clean, I used to be able to get about 3 regrowths before it was done so you do kind of get your moneys worth but if you can wait for seeds to grow, that's definitely a cheaper route for longer term feeding if your garden isn't a viable option.
