Hi all!

We have just been given an outdoor run for our peeegs which is great as I really want them to enjoy some outdoor running around time but my problem is we have two dogs who use the garden too. Obviously they sometimes go wee-wee's out there and I know that it would be dangerous for the peegs to be placed where this might happen.

I was wondering, if I was to place the run on a spot after mowing, then left it there so that the dogs cant business on it, and left it for a couple of mows so that all 'contaminated' grass was eradicated, would it be safe to put the peeegs on it then? ?/

Any thoughts?

I would say so, especially if it gets plenty of rain. If it doesn't, I'd take a hose or something to it to rinse it well a couple times a week, too. I'm no expert, but I did a little research into something similar when we'd used some Miracle-Gro on our lawn, with regards to how long it should be left before it was pig-safe. Most things said 2-3 weeks and a few good rinses. (As it happened, the weather wasn't warm or dry enough for them to go out for two months after anyway!)

Well thats what I sort of thought, if I can rid it of any trace then it should be okay? I would just hate to do anything to hurt my girls so always over cautious! :...

Thankyou Spinning Nickel! :))
