I have noticed Daisy's grease gland area is more noticable and a brown colour. I have a pic..

The area does not feel greasy at all and I don't actually feel any dirt. I tried to clean it using washing up liquid as per the guidelines. rubbed it in, left it for a while and rinsed it off. All that was coming off was tiny specks like this..
Hope you can see them ok on the kitchen roll.

The grease gland still looks the same though. I am wondering if maybe that is just her skin colour underneath the fur? But it's like a gap now in her fur and Maple doesn't have the same gap.

Do you think it is a dirty grease gland?

If you cannot feel grease that would suggest it is her skin. With Sophie it feels thick and greasy. You did get some dirt off though which is good.

Thanks for your reply. I just found it odd how it is more noticeable now. Maybe just that she is getting older.
