Hello everyone, Long time no talk to.

Here is whats going on:

I'm pig sitting for the next 5 weeks. I've never met these people until yesterday but I didn't think there would be any issues as the husband makes and sells C&C cages to people where I live.

Well the two boys, name Bugsy and Blacky, had long nails and their grease glands are pretty bad. I used to foster boys but I've been lucky so far. Anyway I have coconut oil as everyone on Guinealynx suggests, but I don't know how much to use or how long to leave it on for.

HELP!? ?/ :{

not sure, but i would think maybe until you feel the grease breaking down and move?
i use swarfega on my boys, and just rub it in until the grease starts to break down. :)

I read somewhere that one of the best things to put on the matted fur is fairy liquid. just massage it in with your finger. obviously avoid putting it anywhere other than the affected area as it will strip the coat of its natural oils

Hi love i just use a shampoo and massage into the area feed some treats for a few mins and then wash off...........but read Laura's stickie it's great!

p.s. how's the 'bump' going?

Swarfega is really good, and not at all harsh as it may sound. Also Fairy Liquid is not bad either. x
