Hi guys,

I think my boar might have an infected grease gland, I’ve used a bit of Luke warm water and coconut oil to try and clean it, but it looks swollen and like something is inside it. I would imagine it needs a vet visit, would it be able to wait until after the bank holiday here in the UK or would it be an emergency visit? He’s fine in himself, eating, pooping etc

Thank you
Emma

Hi

Unless it gets worse quickly or if he is in noticeable discomfort, it can wait until after the bank holiday but please try to get him seen by a vet as soon after as possible.
