grease glands

In a book ive been reading it says that the boars grease glands need cleaning....... I cant find it let alone clean it!! 98) Help!

so do you bath them then? or how often do they need it cleaned?
 
I havent ever cleaned it, they do have a bath around every 8 weeks, they dont like it much!

Boars and Sows have them and they do need a wash just give that area an extra scrub when bathing them ;)
 
Swarfega is really good for grease glands  O0 

It's a hand cleaner which removes grease, oil etc (mechanics use it) & can be bought in Wilkinsons :)
 
Ive never washed any of my piggies glands... is that where that gross 'boar' smell comes from? :-\
 
that smell is awful :o I didnt realise how much they smelt until picked them up in my nice cardy and then stank of it for ages afterwards then I realised what it was :embarassed:
 
Lol... sometimes whe I pick Wilson up I get a huge wiff of it :( Its so gross!
 
If they whiff they need it washed My boar is starting to stink again so bath time again ::) I sometimes just do a bum wash saves time and stress on my part ;D

Thats a great pic, thanks, mine isnt as clear as that cause he got black long curly fur :-\
