Because I pulled the vet up on being wrong in regards to Jensen's gender he told me he has since got a policy that he will not sex mini pigs until they are 6 to 8 weeks old however, today I popped in to try and reason with him and there was a new older vet there that I had never seen before.

He said to the receptionist to make an appointment with him and he'll sex and check over cassie's babies and wont charge me a penny :):):)

That's how I ended up with 2 of my piggys. I have a friend who is very into and knowledgeable about chinchillas. She had piggys for a while but has gotten more into them. Took two from a freead and thought they looked quite big but guy swore they had never been with a male. You can guess shortly one of the girls had babies. My friend checked the sex of the babies and got somene else she knew to double check and confirm what she tought. Not long after that my friend started to get worried about the size of the girl babies, their Mum and Aunt so went to vet to get another opnion. The vet said one of the babies was actually a boy and that his testicles had not properly descended, that all the girls were pregnant and that the aunt was due to deliver any day. My friend was pretty worried about this as you can imagine and would have more piggys than had space for. On top of that the aunt was bullying at her sister and the babies.

So I offered to take the aunt and foster the boy until could find him a home (didn't have accomodation for more boys at that time). When I went to collect them I checked all the piggys and was certain all girls and none pregnant. My vet checked the next day and agreed with me. No babies ever arrived and the girl who was a boy was definitely a girl. So that's how I came to have Olga and Humbug. Humbug (the aunt) never got the chance to bully here as Sally quickly put her in place.

So I hope they get it right for you this time!
 
I think they are both girls. I had Matilda out earlier for her manicure and had a wee look at the botty. She was very surprised to be place on the back while mummy had a quick look. Both the bubs 'areas' look similar to MAtildas. It will be interesting to find out...There is no doubting Mimsi and MOntgomery are boys due to their large testicles. Maybe mini pigs 'balls' dont drop till their older. This conversation it giving me the 'willies'. Hee hee..
 
I'm pretty sure they are both girls now as well :mallethead yet a week ago I was certain I had a boy and a girl :))
 
off course, I meant LIE down... I dropped my compy this morning 8:), it's not been happy since!
 
lol when all eight of my babas were born they got sexed at about 2 weeks old maybe even before that, it was easy. I got 7 boys and a girl. Girl is still with mama, one boy is with his Dad and the rest are paired off, they have been that way nearly a year now. Ahhhh my babies all grown up *sob*
