Green beans/legumes ok?

I've had a look at the diet sheet I have got from the rescue/excel feeding plan and my rspca guinea pig guide and none of them specifically mention if eg french or runner beans are ok for guinea pigs. I grow them on the allotment so sometimes have quite a few going spare come summer!

Sorry to be dim but are they ok for guinea pigs?!

Green Beans are fine. We always chop ours up small to avoid stringy bits. I have never read anywhere about Runner beans so I wouldn't chance it. Here are links to very good food lists one on here http://www.theguineapigforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=42
