We have tried the usual salad items lettuce, etc etc etc but our two just adore Grass! We have a limited "stock" from our lawn but behind us is a large open area with lots of good grazing grass.

I want to check this is OK for them to eat in such frequent amounts but they just don't seem to like the flake food or fruit.

They like it so much that if I place a decent bowl full in their hutch and in less than 5 mins they have done the lot,,,,

The only problem with open grazing areas is you dont know what has been on it, I would think that if you washed it thoroughly you would get rid of most bad things.

I am giving mine cut grass each day, mainly as its long and plentyful and they havent been able to graze it for themselves.

Once they get used to it then they can eat as much grass as they like :)) It's so good for them :) As long as it doesn't upset their tummies or anything.

As long as there's no chemicals on it, or dogs going to the toilet or anything

Wonderful, thank you for the replies, I do rinse the grass if it comes from the back field area from our lawn's we know it is decent and has no little doggie gift's

Mine love it too.....they don't really bother with it when I put them in their run on the grass, but when I cut it and pop it into their cage, they don't come up for air til they've polished the lot off!

I have to cut grass from peoples gardens, cause we dont have a garden!
But they know the bag now!
I make sure tho that the grass is okay for them :)
