Oreo passed away due to an unknown infection.. When he fell I'll, I called the vet and did everything I could to nurse him back to health. I finally had to rush him to the emergency animal hospital cause he had a seizure and passed out, but I was too late.. Katie and JellyBean watched their herd member die as I called every place I could to help. But when I got there, they told me he has already passed..

I'm never gonna be able to get past this. I miss him already. He was family.. I feel like it's all my fault. I tried my best, but.. He's gone.

I'm planning to get JellyBean and Katie checked out, but I can't find what could've caused Oreo's passing.. He was the only one who had red spots on his feet, so the vet gave me an ointment to put on his feet. Then he got very sick on FridayHe was lethargic, refusing to eat or drink, having trouble going, and even struggling to breathe. I called, and they told me the only exotic vet wasn't going to be there. They told me to give him some yellow squash babyfood through a dropper. I did just that and gave him water, too. He was twitching this morning and then had a seizure. He passed out and died right in front of JellyBean and Katie. I frantically called the vets and rushed him to the animal hospital, but it was too late.. I gave him a good burial... I tried to look up what could've cause this, but I couldn't find anything.

Symptoms:
Red spots on feet
Lethargy
Refusing to eat/drink
Struggling to breathe
Not defecating
Weakness
Twitching
seizure
Death

Thanks. I still don't know what type of infection caused his death.. I just hope it doesn't get Katie or JellyBean, too.

Has the vet said what infection was.
Course you now worried and i would. look on here see if In illness section or elsewhere if symptoms match to others.
You need to be strong for your other 2 well loved piggies. Oreo sounded lovely and i send you my deepest Sympthy.
Time will help and as I will can prove losing a piggie hurts cos you love them. But it gets better honest. x
