Green Poo?

Hi, I just got Cleveland and Theodore a new pal named Andrew. They have only been together not even a day, but they absolutely love each other. They all cuddle together and Andrew starts squealing when he can't see the other boys. Since last night though, both Cleveland and Theodore have been pooping green poos. They are just like their regular ones but green. I was wondering if this could just be with the stress of adding a new member to the family or if this could be something medical?

The green is from not fully digested veg (if they'd had carrots, the poos would be orange). I would recommend to go lightly on the veg for a day or two and rather encourage them to eat plenty of hay instead (which should make up to 80% of their daily food intake anyway). The presence of a new piggy can contribute to a minor tummy upset, but there is usually another reason. For the moment, just keep an eye on things. if it gets worse or carries on, you may want to see a vet, so I hope that it is just a one-off and nothing to worry about.

But if you are feeding greens or they are on grass , then i would slowly cut down on the greens .

Just as a precaution i would also get a probiotic like fibreplex in case it does not improve .
Personally if i have a pig like yours , i start them on fibrapex as a matter of course. According to
my vet, it is a totally safe probiotic, so it would do no harm if the cause is something else.
 
Okay I'll pick some up if it looks the same today. I did feed them a treat yesterday I got from the store that may be contributing to it. I'll stop giving them those treats.
