My girls have been on the landing in their run thats a corner of the landing blocked off with random things right by my bedroom door. I decided it was time to come in as Greta was scratching at the bit that i had blocking my open bedroom door with. So i pickd up all the stuff from their cage and put it all back in their freshly cleaned out cage and unblocked my door. So I though to myself 'I wonder if they would walk from there into my room, along the floor and jump back into their cage?' because I used to have a lovely boar William (rip) who was very clever at stuff like that and Greta reminds me of him alot.
I called and called from my room but no Piggie's. So i stood by the door and called but they still wouldnt come! So then i rememberd Greta rather likes the sound of this jingly ball I've got them, liking the noise meaning she doesnt make the noise by playing with it, I'm just the idiot who jingles it at her and she comes out of where ever she is and walks towards me with a rather pleased look on her. So i picked up the ball, jingled and walked into my room and jingled and sure enough she followed it!
She came strutting around the corner like she owned the place, no sign of nerves (unlike Lady Iris who was hiding in the cavy cave and was having none of it!) all the way across my floor, then i threw the ball into the cage and she jumped right in! What a clever girl ;D :smitten: :smitten:
Then with a little persuading and guidance Lady Iris did the same. But i think its guna take her some getting used to. Maybe she'll ask Greta for some lessons
I'm so proud of them! Especially Greta who has proved to be a complete Super Piggie! :smitten:
Now their both slumped out snoozing in their nice fresh cage, worn out after all the excitement and fun they've had on the landing and the treck to their cage!
