hi i’m new to this but i’m unbearably upset over the loss of my pig. i’m trying to find ways to help me cope with the loss of her. her name was gretchen and she was the sweetest most loving piggy. we had such a great bond and i miss her with all my heart. it’s hard for people to understand the pain i feel from this loss, but my family and friends sure did love her too. yesterday at 1:30pm she took her last breath.

I am sorry you have suffered the loss of your much loved Gretchen. I would say most of us on this forum have hurt at the loss of their piggies and completely understand what you are going through. They leave a piggy shaped hole in your life but in time that hole will be filled with happy memories that will stay with you always. I had to say goodbye to a much loved piggy 3 weeks ago and someone said 'its only a guinea pig' certainly not! they are part of your family and your life. Take care of yourself as you grieve.
