Teenage Guinea Pig

I am just wondering what the best brush is for grooming guinea pigs?
My two boys are seven weeks old, their mum is a peruvian and dad is an alpaca so they have very soft, curly coats which will be fairly long. They are starting to look like an explosion in a wool factory
They are more than happy to be picked up and stroked.
Would a small cat brush be ok? I want something that will get the knots out but be soft as they they are still small babies and I don't want to hurt their skin
