which brush do you use to groom your piggies with? ive been using a nylon bristled thing for my short hairs but have seen other ones on sale now which seem to be made from wire bits?
which are better for long haired piggies and are normal hair dressing scissors ok for cutting their hair?

Normal hairdressing scissors are fine for piggies,i have a few nylon bristled brushes and they are great,
the one time i tried the metal ones my piggies screamed even though i was gentle so i truly dont think they are the best for piggies just another thing companys bring out to make money,i use the nylon brush on my shetie and coronet it may take a little longer but they enjoy it rather than get pain xx

If the hair is really tangled a pair of scissors is the best approach! Sometimes a good wash and comb will help improve matters, otherwise brush frequently.

If you have short hairs a nylon one is fine! I am a bit naughty and only brush mine once every 2/3 weeks. I know you should do it weekly but I have them out for lap time daily and most the loose hairs come off when I stroke them anyway! Is anyone else the same or am I being a bad piggy mum?

They do get baths if they smell or have yucky grease glands and they get nail clips every 4 to 6 weeks!

my shorthairsd all 9 of them get brushed once every 2/3 weeks as well i dont actually find a need to do it much more than that,Bandit and Basil who have long bottom hair get done twice weekly as it tangles if i dont,Cooper-Beau(sheltie) and blade (coronet x texel) get done every second day,so no you arent a bad piggy mummyxx

No, I am the same - with a good cuddle, many loose hirs come out anyway. I brush more frequently when there are a lot loose hairs.

I have a wire bristled brush (from the Options Mini range) and I find them ideal for the shelties here. I do have a comb but the pigs aren't keen on being groomed with it.
