I need to wash Max as hes a dirty wee piggy but as I have never did this before I was wondering about the water temperature? luke warm?

Hmmmm I would say just abit warmer than luke warm. How are you bathing him?

I always usd to use bath water that you could bath a baby in but then I read somewhere about piggys body temperatures being higher than our own and that they prefered warmer water. When I tried it they weren't half as upset with me about dunking them in water. I think I was giving them the equivalent of a cold bath to begin with so I'd definately go for warmer than luke warm.

Ali I will be bathing him in the bath but with the shower, hope thats ok, as I said I havent done this before so any help would be great.

That would be fine, let us know how it goes. Have you got any more questions or queries? :)

Sorry I havent been around lately but I have been a bit poorly but now on the mend.
I thought I would update you's on how the bathing went.

They both skittered about for a few minutes, I let the shower head lay in the bath and they started running into it, the shampoo when on and they loved the massaging bit then a quick rinse and towel dried after about 10 minutes I got hairdryer out and started on Max and he didnt like it ( think it was a new noise to him ) so tried Rabbie with hair dryer and he loved it , had a job getting him back into cage :)

Glad the bath went ok! My piggies didn't used to like the hair dryer but they have got used to it now, so Max might too if you try again next time.
