Ive got 6 trays of grass seed on the go - all sprouting nicely but I wondered, what else could I usefully grow on a window sill that the piggies would like? What have been your best successes?
I have a good sized garden but no grass! Always looking for new ideas

I have just planted up a very large window box of parsley.
I doubt it will last long, but fingers crossed it actually grows!

I grow my own herbs. The pigs benefit from cilantro, parsley, mint and dill, though I have lots of others. I also have a pot of toma cherry tomatoes, and they have a cherry tomato each every week and they love them. Oh, and a couple of pots of strawberries - they get to have both the fruits occasionally and the leaves more often.

Chard, spinach and rocket grow well in containers. I have them right outside my back door for easy picking when they're ready. So easy to grow, I do every year
