Growing Grass Indoors

I have no access to lawn and my boys have never had fresh grass, I've seen people growing grass indoors for their piggies but I cannot find seeds anywhere!

Where can I grab grass seess for the piggies?

I got my grass seeds from Wilkos in a big cardboard box, enough to seed plenty of indoor pig grass. Your best bet is any garden centre or failing that do a google search, there's lots of places to buy it online.

Is crab grass the best grass for pigs? Or can you grow any type of lawn grass?

And what do you grow it in and where inside? Yeah my husband will love me growing grass in the house lol. Well actually he might he is a lawn FREAK maybe it will help him get thru the long cold winter hahaha. I could find him an itty bitty lawn mower lol lol.

I just use ordinary grass seed I grow it in little tubs on my windowsill in bright light and water well.

Not tried growing it in winter yet,bit as long as it has got light I don't see why not

thehayexperts.co.uk have timothy grass seed and dandilion seed

It takes a bit longer in winter but it does continue to grow. I use the seeds from wilkos too, they seem to enjoy it
