Growing Grass Outdoors?

Hello! Since warm weather has been happening, I'd like to start feeding the piggies grass again. We have a dog now and so the garden is unavailable. I'd like to grow some grass and put it on the lawn surrounded by a pen, using a old medium sized commercial cage to grow the grass in. Unfortunately, I cannot grow the grass indoors as the cage is too big and the only ways I've seen to growing grass is indoors. Does anyone have do it outdoors? Also is wheatgrass the normal? I think I've seen Timothy somewhere. Thanks.

Well you see people re-seed the lawn all the time outside so I don't see why you cant although I think it might me dangerous as grass seed usually has growing chemicals in ! x

Seeds with growing chemicals? I'm no expert so I have no clue with these things.

Yep, unfortunately most seeds that aren't for eating (human wise) contain chemicals and can be deadly to your Guinea Pigs sometimes if you buy wilko own brands they don't carry any but please read the label ! x
