Hi, wondering if anyone could help me.
I'm not hugely worried about this and I am going to take my pig (Bramble) to the vets but I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on what's happening in the meantime, two days ago I noticed something above her eye not in her eye just above it, looked a little red and dry so I've been watching it and this morning it has kind of turned into a growth type thing just above her eye that looks a bit like a very small mole. I can't find anything on the web that matches what's happening - there is no discharge or redness she is a black and grey pig so it's dark in colour like her skin. Her eye isn't watery she is her usual self, eating and drinking as much as ever. It's her upper eyelid bit not below it.
Thanks if anyone has any insight :) Rosie

@Bramble&Dot It's best to get it checked out by the vet. As they don't have a lot of skin around their face it's best to deal with issues promptly. Because if she needs it removed then it will need to be done before it gets too big.

Yeah I'm going to get her to a vet as soon as I can. It's only tiny right now hoping it won't get much bigger before I can get her in to see a vet

Update, booked in for Saturday and the lump/skin tag seems to of dropped off her eyelid still looks dry though so I'm going to take her unless it disappears completely.

Might be worth taking her to the vet anyway just to be on the safe side.
Hope it’s all ok

Completely healed up just a little bald patch left! She might of just lost a fight with a piece of hay.
