Grrr, poor Marble

Ive just found running lice on my poor rescued pregnant sow. :( I'm so angry, not only is she pregnant but also infested in lice. Ive had a look under the microscope and they are either the dog biting lice or the usually piggie ones. I'm so angry! mallethead grrrrgrrrrgrrrr
I'm not sure weather to take her into work just so i can charge Pets at Home a full consultation fee and all the ivermectin for her, just to spite them. I'm taking some Ivermec home in the morning (I'm currently on lunch break on my night shift). I'm just not sure its really fair to cart her all the way to work just to charge PAH.

Didn't you get a free consultation with them?

I'd take her there, and then demand they pay for the ivermectin to treat the rest of your pigs! (even if she hasn't been in with them, thats not the point :)))

I dont, just reduced rate, i would have asked to be charged full price if i do take her. I just dont know if i see the point, its lice, and easily treatable. I guess i could do the whole lot. 13 piggies. 3 lots of treatment each..... hmmm, could add up to a lot there. Shes in quaranteen not allowed with them so no chance of the others having some.

Sorry, I meant I thought that P@H gave you a free consult at their companion care surgery?
 
Best of luck! Poor Marble - the stress of being pregnant makes her even more susceptible to parasites!

Would she really have to go to work or would the vet take your word as a "call out" charge!

:( poor Marble, bet you're even happier you took her now or she would have ended up in a right state i'm sure!
 
Poor Marble. Hope she pulls through everything alright.

I'm not best pleased with P@H myself recently to be honest. :(
