Grrr - surely this is NOT ok for a piggy?

Thats small not fit for a hammy! I admit Sunshine started in that size until I knew what was what thankfully he only slept in it as I put him in an old travel cot to run around in (had nothing for pigs as he was impulsive buy...lol)

But really its too small. Its a litter tray! 98)
 
it has no measurements on it but it does look small, might be okay for mice but definately not a piggy O0 don't know much about hamsters as they are banned in oz. hopefully the person who has bidded on it has mice. O0
 
hamsters and gerbils are banned i think due to the diseases they carry. the customs and government think it will be bad for our environment and our ecological system. same as i think cane toads are banned in the USA. i can remember as a child wanting a hamster to find they were banned. O0 98) crazy government.

I never knew that they were banned in oz, I used to have a little gerbil called Charlie he lived till he was four and a his cage mate boomer was himalayun (cant spell ::) ) he only lived till he was 3.

sorry lol, I know this thread isnt about gerbils ;D
 
Hard to see the size from that photo, but I think it would be fine for a hamster, looks similar to my old hamster cage. Not a piggie though.
 
Waaaay too small for a guinea hmph OI hope buyers ask for dimesions.
I should think that hammys are banned from import into Australia as so many other furries that were imported eg, rabbits,cats and dogs took a huge toll on the resident marsupials so adding unwanted pets and increased competition for the smaller pouched furries is worth avioding.
 
:tickedoff: that is way to small i probably couldn't fit dallas in that cage
 
whoa i wouldnt put a hamster or rat or guinea pig or a gerbil in that, i wouldnt even put a mouse in it (they would escape through the bars)

can you imagine a pig trying to fit in the house? :o
