My 2 female guinea pigs (sisters) are now 4 1/2 months old and have just started getting a bit territorial and grumpy with each other. It's not all the time but we have had a few scuffles over the last few days. Should I be worried?

Hi!

Your girls are now teenagers and more hormonal; this can mean that the existing hierarchy is questioned, especially when the girls come into season. Sows rarely fight or fall out during this time, but they can squabble a lot, have tussles, chases etc.
I would recommend to have only hideys with two exits and lots of space etc.

Thank you. That's really helpful. They don't seem to be hurting each other just lots of hay flying. 20180902_233819.webp
