Hi I'd really love some advice on one of my pigs. We have had lupo and gInger since they were roughly 8 weeks. They are not related and do have the occasional squabble and I know that's normal but ginger seems to have got very territorial recently and has in the last two days begun to chitter when we approach the cage. Sometimes it's when we attempt to handle her but is also just when we approach. Once held she's fine though and will eat and settle very quickly the minute we handle her.
We're worried we're doing something wrong and would rather sort it now before it becomes a bigger problem for ginger. We're unhappy that she seems unhappy.
Is she just being territorial or do we need to change our behaviour?

Please help us

Thanks amy

It sounds like Ginger is just telling you to go away. One of mine used to do this but stopped when she got to know me. I would not worry about it. Ginger will get to know you are a friend. :)
