Hi everyone,

I noticed this the early hours of this morning. Hoggle and Ludo seem a bit 'growly' when they eat or talk to each other. I cleaned their cage this morning and held them to me, their breathing didn't sound out of the ordinary (just listened to their noses).

I am not well myself and also pg now so I know I shouldn't be handling them too much so did everything with gloves on. I am just wondering if I have this viral infection, could it be something they could have caught or something I could have caught off them or is that impossible?

I only ask this because they live in my bedroom. I would hate to think there are germs going round when I have an unborn baby, but also I am worried for H & L. Hoggle was eating hay just now and he sounded a bit gruff.

They munched a load of cucumber down just now so I know their appetites are still ok. What could cause this when they are indoor animals?

oh i dont know hon, but i hope you are all ok.

My stan makes a grunting noise within his nose and i took him to the vets but they couldnt find anything, and he has been doing it for about 2 months now, it almost sounds worse when he is eating.

Take care x

You cannot get anything from them but I am unsure if they can get anything from you. I would get them a check up at the vets to ensure all is well. I am sorry you are not well yourself. I really hope you get better soon.
