Finally, after what seems like WEEKS of waiting, I collected Gubbins and Beryl from Honeybunnies today. It's KILLING me to leave them alone to settle in {:|. They were initially in their respective cosies (Gubbins has only been neutered a week so they're currently in adjoining pens) - but I found they were getting really damp and 'sweaty'. Is this because they were actually sweating (do piggies sweat?) or is it just because they were breathing fast due to being a bit stressed? I took the cosies out and just let them bury themselves in hay instead.
Beryl (aged 5.5) has already snuck out for some nosh (when I wasn't looking) but poor Gubbins (age unknown) is really frightened and has only managed to move from one litter tray to the next. I'm hoping he'll nip out for some nosh overnight when it's all quiet.
Piccies to follow in a day or two when they've had time to settle in. All you'd see at the moment is piggie bums anyway
