Preparation is the key to a successful Cavy Coiffure.

First gather everything you will need in one place.

Ironing board or table


Scissors and comb


Old newspaper


Refreshments


Guinea Pig


and most important of all The Glamorous Assistant


When you have got everything in one place now the fun can begin!

Place newspaper and refreshments on table.


Place guinea pig top of newspaper with head end next to refreshments


Using comb and scissors start snipping away

Mine wont eat during any kind of hair dressing or pedicures. They do wriggle, kick out and squeak though! Luckily I only have 4 real fluff bombs the others are pretty smooth.

Great thread this. Only trouble is I don't own an ironing board

I had to make do with a TV dinner table instead.

This girly was very cooperative when she had her pre heatwave haircut.
