Hi all. I don't know if this is the right board to ask, so apologies if I've posted this in the wrong area of the forum.

As it's my big 50 in March (and also our 20th wedding anniversary on the same day) we've decided to jet off to celebrate it with some friends who live in Malta. Most things are organised, but the other two precious members of our family, Tilly and Troy, will need to be cared for while we're away for the week.

I've phoned our local RSPCA, where Troy came from, to see if they could either board the babes for us, or know of anyone in the area who they could recommend, but unfortunately they weren't able to help.

I really would be grateful if anyone on this forum could recommend someone in the Suffolk area (we're in Saxmundham) to look after our girl and (neutered) boy while we're away. We have the possibility of hiring a pet sitter who could pop round each day, but we'd much prefer it if they could actually be boarded. Thanks for your help. Mark

Hi mark

I am near Harleston but might have moved by then. TeresaJ is near Stowmarket, she has lots of guineas and rabbits and rescues and boards, maybe she can help. If not I've heard good reports of furawaytails pet sitters nera Diss. Sometimes your vet might have some on their noticeboard too

Thanks very much for your help, Sophie. I may give furawaytails a ring as I work in Eye, so Diss is quite convenient, as is Harleston, so please keep me informed about your possible move, and if you'd be able to board these two beauties for us for the week.

Also, the vets is an excellent suggestion, so I'll ask my wife to pop in and speak to them early next week.

Mark.
