Hey all

I'm intrigued to see what my little piggies are doing in the day when I am in work, They have the run of new extension (lean to insulated shed which is now actually warmer than my own living room ha)

Anyone got a little cam? They are still young and nervous so I never get to see them play when i come in really unless i sit really still. Would like just a cheap little battery operated one

I know I'm sad but i just love watching them and seeing what they do - can check in on them in dinner hour and breaks. I'm not on Facebook ha so this can be my feed!

Both myself and Tim have piggy cams.
We use the Arlo system which isn’t cheap however the quality is excellent we use it for security. It records movement and noise and is battery operated and requires a cable to recharge the battery. Here’s a screen shot of recordings.
I would say if you want an indoor one then a cheap one will suffice but stay away from Chinese made if you are worried about sensitive traffic on your router.
If your battery operated and close up trained in the pigs then they will sap the life from it.

I love the Arlo too. It's what we use for our home CCTV. I agree that having too much activity will zap the life out of it. The battery on our front door one went a couple of weeks back and we've had them up since beginning of October though now we have rechargeable batteries.

Aw brill thanks for this will look into it today :)

That looks great quality

I have one that works on our home WiFi. It comes with an option (extra annual fee) to record and store for 7 days. I’ve stopped paying the subscription. The camera isn’t best quality image but I get live feed to my phone or iPad and I get to keep an eye on new piggies (especially fosters who may be shy). I love mine. Toguard Electronics Co.,Limited

I have just got two pigs after years without them and came back to the forum :)
I cannot wait to introduce them and I have ordered the TOOGE Pet camera, which has pan/tilt night vision, two way audio and motion detection...
I cannot wait to keep my beedy eye on them and watch them eat their timer released lunch nuggets.
It is all very Wallace and grommit but they are worth it! :D
