Guinea Cuddles

I have to boy guinea pigs and I'm just learning how to give them proper cuddles. I know that sounds so weird, but I lay on the couch with them on my stomach... is that right?

Anyways. is there anything I can do to make absolute sure they wont jump off of me?

AAAANNNDDd I have two boys, can I cuddle them at the same time or should I keep it one on one?

I have two boys as well , So they get used to me I let them pretty much use me as a climbing frame, so I've had pretty much most of me sniffed, licked and chomped on.

My pig's prefer to sit on my chest so I generally let them and they do little contented squeaks. There's no "rule" on how to cuddle them it's how you both feel comfortable.

My boys are mostly out together but for about 30mins I take each of them out on their own and have a cuddle and check through their coat thoroughly, this is so they get used to being prodded on their own just in case something might happen to one of them and I need to keep them with me or look after them, they feel completely at ease with me.

There's not at alot I would say you can do to make sure they don't jump off you, maybe wrap them in a blanket? They will trust you more though if they know that they need to flee and you're not going to hang onto them. When they do get adventurous and look like they might fall off something, don't panic and rush in, you might scare them and send them over quicker, just say something like "Silly Boy" and gently pick him up.
