I've noticed that one of my guineas sneezes every now and then. None of my others do :/
There's never any discharge or anything and she doesn't sound wheezy, but she dose do it quite often - do you know what it could be?
I'm just abit worried as she's in with all my other guineas so if shes somehow caught something then they all will have :/

Do you think a trip to the vet is in order or?

If it is just occasional sneezing, then it is rather a sensitivity to dust, dry air or something like that. If it was an allergy, the signs would be much stronger. Guinea pigs can also sneeze when they have a piggy wash; to clear their noses.

If I were you, I'd try to see whether moister air would make a difference, you can try placing a bowl of steaming water next to the pen or hang wet towels over the radiator. If that ends the sneezing, you may think about a humidifier for the long term. If it doesn't change anything, I would look towards the hay and try and see whether the sneezing is more frequent after you have freshly refilled it etc.

It it was infectious, your sneezing piggy and the companions would have long since shown symptoms of an URI.

Thanks :)
Their good ideas, I'll try both of those things.

I do actually have a rabbit that's allergic to hay so maybe this guineas is too!

See a vet if the sneezing is becoming more frequent or worse, if the companions are showing signs of URI or you cannot get to the bottom of it.
