Hey all! So I have 3 female piggies- Winnie, Pippa, and Luna. Winnie’s the alpha and she’s by far the most cuddly. Well the last few days I’ve noticed her voice is a littl deeper, and that when I pet her in a certain area around her shoulder she gets uncomfortable. She’s fine any other time giving me kisses answer such but this one spot she instantly starts squirming and twitching. As soon as I stop she’s fine. Is this normal or is something wrong? She still eats and drinks normally and has been gaining weight since I got her January 1st of this year. What’s going on?

It sounds like she may have injured herself somehow.
Many guinea pigs have a mad 5 minutes occasionally, and she may have banged into something or misjudged a jump.

If she is definitely eating and drinking and not loosing weight then I would leave her for a couple of days and reassess.
However I would also switch to daily weighing at the same time each day just to keep a very close eye on her.
If she is in pain or has an underlying medical problem than chances are she will start loosing weight.

If she is still uncomfortable after a couple of days I would make an appointment to take her to to the vet to be properly checked out.
