Guinea Pig Acting Weird.?

my guinea pig has been acting really weird lately... i dont know if maybe I'm just overreacting or somethings really wrong, he isn't acting ass happy as he used to be.. everytime i let him out his cage he used to be so happy and he used to wheek, even when i gave him his veggies. now, he has no reaction, he purrs in anger when i pet him & he has no reaction to anything anymore.. he doesnt run around and have fun like he used to, maybe its because he got older or just too fat to do that.. but i dont know, am i just overreacting?

Does he live alone? He could be lonely.

yes , he does but i just can't afford for a friend for him at the moment. i spend all the time i can with him & play with him to entertain him.

That might be the problem as Guinea pigs thrive with company. He’s maybe just lonely.
However a vets check won’t hurt if you’re worried about him.
