Guinea Pig ate simethicone packaging?

We recently bought simethicone (which i know is not recommended but helps my piggie only in mild gas cases). The top had a weird layer covering the opening. I am not sure if it was plastic but it was stretchy and see-through. I took it off and put it on the floor and forgot to take it off, so during floor time, one of my piggies ate all of it! Stretched out it didn't seem to big but I know [piggies are tiny and that in a ball it would be decent-sized. Should I be worried?
 
All you can really do is keep an eye on your pig to make sure they are still eating/drinking/pooping normally over the next couple of days. Most things will pass through, but if you see any change in behavior, appetite, or poop output, see a vet as soon as you can to rule out a bowel impaction from plastic that won't pass through. If it's any consolation, once my kids left the hay too close to the cage and one of my pigs ate a huge hunk of plastic hay bag with no ill effect from it.

Alright, sounds good! I will keep a close eye on her, I really hope there is no ill effect from it. She coughed once about an hour after but is eating and acting fine. She seems a tad gassy but she was like that before (hence the simethicone). That is actually a quite relieving story, I've got a rlly curious piggie but I wouldn't change it for the world, even if it means paying extra attention to her. Thank you for putting my mind at ease, I'll keep an eye out!
 
I would say it's unlikely they swallowed it whole. It may be that they nibbled it and carried it off to another area that's difficult for you to see it. Just keep an eye on them and any problems go straight to a vet
