My two pigs were having floor time today, and I had moved a pot plant of heather into the side. Some one obviously moved it back again, and I just caught Flossy eating it. I am quite worried. I don’t know how much she ate, she’s acting normal, what do I do? Thank you :( :( :( :( :(

Hi

Guinea pigs don't have a vomit reflex (like all rodents), so please keep an eye on her over the next 24 hours and see a vet promptly if she is suddenly looking very unwell. The UK has got out-of-hours and weekend vet cover; this still applies even during lockdown.
How to contact a vet out of hours

Chances are she won't have any issues, so please don't panic!

Oh ok thank you 🙏
I was very worried!
I am keeping a close eye on her, she is eating well and acting normal. They’re both a bit sleepy today though as they were making lots of noise last night and keeping me awake! Now she’s huddled up with Poppy in the castle 🥰
