Guinea pig biting coroplast non-stop!

Hiya, Sundae has been biting the coroplast in his cage for about a month now (he realised bar biting didn't get him anywhere). I've done all I can to try to stop him - moving him away, trying to cover it over, etc - but it's only gotten worse in the last week or so. He has started to do it at 5am now as well as any other time he feels like it which wakes me up before a super busy day at college. Any ideas on how to stop him? I think it may be because he's still in teenage phase and maybe he's just moody?

If you can cover the coroplast with fleece, that would be easiest.
