guinea pig biting on water bottle?

In the picture it shows wear Butterscotch has been biting. So they both come out to eat their pellets, and they love drinking water with their pellets. I always watch them, and i noticed since yesterday, Butterscotch has been biting the circled part and has barely drank any water. All of the water drank was from oreo. It seems he is trying to drink water, but he just keeps on biting the circled part, not sure why

One of mine chews bars and his bottle - he does it only when I’m there to feed them and it’s his way of getting me to hurry up (doesn’t work, I’m not giving into that!).
Do you notice any similar connection with yours?
Do you have two bottles?
Are pellets scattered around the cage (recommend method rather than using bowls ) so that he can get his share when your other piggy is also eating (ie so he isn’t waiting for a turn at a bowl or bottle)?

Yes I do have 2 bottles. He does this after I give him food, I give food to them in a bowl rarely but spread it everywhere around the cage.
