Hi everyone

I am getting married this year and need to find someone to look after my two male pigs. My mum would ordinarily look after them, but she is attending the wedding. She could look after them whilst we are on honeymoon, but I am worried that they won't get the care that they are used to. My mum has recently got a dog so they would not be able to stay at her house which would mean that she would only be able to pop over to my house to check on them once a day. In addition to this, she is of ill health and struggles to clean them.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Hi :) Hope the wedding plans are going well!

What dates will you be away? I might be able to help out. Do you have a cage that could come with them?

Are you still near the M1 junction? I'm not a stalker, I just remember messaging you some time ago about the vet in Sileby.

Hi is there any praticular reason that the dog is a problem for the guinea pigs. i have 4 dogs and 17 pigs and it has never caused any problems, of course my pigs can not run free range around the house but that is the only hinderance the dogs cause. I have found that guinea pigs are not at all bothered by dogs and are often quite curious about them. My lhasa apso (dog) is fascinated by the pigs and sits watching them when i am in the room with them, but this does not bother the pigs in the slightest. Maybe you should try the pigs over at your mum's and see how things go xx

Hi, I'm in Leicester and may be able to help you out depending on when you are going away and how long for. I don't have a cage big enough for them though so it would depend on whether you could bring them to us with the cage
