Hi there, I'm new to this forum and would really appreciate some help please! I have 2 guinea pigs (Jiggles and Joey) and I'm looking for somewhere for them to stay this summer while I go on holiday. The problem is we're away for 4 weeks, so I'm looking for somewhere where they'll get the comforts of home, such as the chance to be outside in a run eating grass. The only place I've found so far that will take them just wants them in their hutch the whole time, which wouldn't be fair on them.

I live in Farnborough in Hampshire. Does anyone have any suggestions please?!

Chrissy at Gorgeous Guineas does boarding. She lives in Tilehurst, Reading, might be a bit far? You can contact her on 0845 838 7458. Email at [email protected]
I've met Chrissy and she is lovely.

Sorry but in a hutch for FOUR WEEKS?! That's ridiculous, I think you might want to refer them to the bit on the RSPCA website about daily exercise!

Suzy is right I do run a small boarding business :) we are moving soon as I am getting my own place but won't be far from where I am now, and the new garden still has grass, I refused to move unless grass was included!

Farnborough is about 40 mins from us so not sure how you feel about travelling that far, but if you do want to consider me let me know - just pop me an email via the website. I always welcome piggy parents who want to come and look around first, in fact I prefer it so everyone is happy with how the piggies are being kept, as I say I am moving soon but the care of the piggies would be the same even if I lived on the moon I promise :) (hmm how to get grass on the moon... :{)

Summer is pretty busy though so would be grateful if you could let me know sooner rather than later as I literally have one space for two left for the first week in August!
