hi all hope all ok
just wanted to let you all know about a book i bought yesterday.
its by gill page its aimed at new young owners but i bought cos has some good tips in it . was really pleased actually cos she encouraged them to go and try at animal rescue centres first to look for piggies. Not sure i realy agreed with the tv thing does it hurt their ears? mine are quite near it i dont have it that loud an they dont seem 2 mind. i already knew they dont like fireworks an thunderstorms. It said they can have dog biscuits to gnaw on is this true? iv never ben told that by any1.

I'm pretty sure you can give them bonio's but not sure my hamster used to love them

Nope, no dog biscuits. Veggies are the best treats!

I agree, try to find out what their favourite veggies are... at least you know it's good for them!

I agree too, I imagine most dog biscuits contain meat proteins or at the very least milk powder etc.. If it's not vegan it's not for piggies

What is the name of the book? I am not sure about dog biscuits, I thought they contained meat products and piggies being strictly vegitarians, I dont think it is something they would like.

i used to give my hamster a dog treat or two a week, but they have meat fats in, so no go for piggies!
