Hello Everyone.

My Partner noticed today that my Girl guinea pig Hazel has a runny nose.
She has yellow/greenish mucus coming from her nose, not a stream but there. She has sneezed a few times today but otherwise no changes in her habits of zoomies, eating, drinking etc.

Should I take her to the vet?
It is the colder months in Australia.
They have fleece for bedding and lots of houses.

Any advice is really helpful, I am so worried!
Thank You.

She does need to see a vet asap, guinea pigs do not get colds. What you are describing sounds very much like a URI which needs treatment as soon as possible to prevent your guinea pig from deteriorating

I will take her to the vet Tomorrow, I was worried it was an upper respiratory infection but thought id ask about colds first.

Sounds like you might have caught it nice and early if you haven't noticed any physical changes to her so hopefully some antibiotics will get her over it quick enough. I think there are tips on here about steam bowls placed near cages which can help especially if she has some difficulty breathing (usually noticeable from her sides pulsing while she breathes or a little hooting sound)
