I adopted 2 male guinea pigs in march. They live outside with lots of hay and an insulator. Recently I noticed that they have started sneezing and snorting quite alot. Is this usual?!

Please have your guinea pigs vet checked promptly and ideally bring them inside/under cover over winter. They are not wired to live in the cold, especially not in the current UK cold spell!

Respiratory infections (URI) can kill or permanently damage the lungs. They are bacterial; guinea pigs do not get human viral colds. URIs require an antibiotic.
