guinea pig concern!

Hello everyone!
I have a little concern. Today I was stroking my guinea pig arthur, and I wasn't paying attention and heard him squeek, I realised that it was underneath his fur that I was rubbing. Everytime I do it in the same spot he squeeks and shakes himself, however when i do it on top of his fur or in any other place this doesn't happen, do you think there could be something there? or am I just thinking too much about it? I'm sorry if this doesnt make much sense, but I dont really know how to explain myself haha.

i think maybe you give him the shivers or he doesnt like it much as mine do the same but when i've checked there been nothing there.

whereabouts do you stroke him when he squeaks? Mine HATE me stroking near there ears and flick there heads or go to nip me!

He probably has just got an odd spot he doesn't like being touched.

Check for skin problems or swellings to be on the safe side.

he shivers too. its just a particular point on his body under his hair, i'll be sure to have a closer look at it. thank you all for your response, really helped!
